Pharmaceutical Client
Issue:
A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer had its generic medication retired as the PBS brand, leaving it with an excess supply of non-branded medication.
Solution:
The remarketing of this product was both sensitive and restrictive. Working closely with the client we engaged a small independent chain of regional pharmacies that could take the offered quantity and ensure that the client’s normal channel remained unaffected.
Benefit:
- The client received full COGS for the excess inventory
- The sensitivity required for the remarketing to be handled by Active's dedicated remarketing team who have industry experience with pharmaceuticals and the legislation that surrounds the sale of this type of product
- All the Trade Credit issued was utlised within a 12 month period to offset the clients media activity
